Where do we get rain?

Sweet Pea shared her thoughts on this with her MiMi on Sunday after getting rained on at the park. According to Sweet Pea, God has all these pipes and each town has a faucet. God turns on a faucet in a city and it rains. Then God turns off the faucet to stop the rain.

We have not used this as an illustration so I am not sure where this explanation derived. Amazing how a 5 year old mind works.

Girls Get-Away

I was blessed to have the opportunity to get-away this past weekend. Thanks to my sweet husband I joined 13 others for a short trip to Eat, Socialize, Eat, Scrapbook, Eat and just get away from all the normal daily demands. We left behind a total of 14 husbands and 16 children - ranging in age from 4 wks (a very brave husband) to 9 years. I did not actually complete all that I had hoped but it was a fun experience. Did I mention all the wonderful food and yummy snacks?!

Hubby did a great job with the children. He is a wonderful father and I know I am blessed to have him. I am now counting the days until my next adventure - A christian cruise with my sister and aunt.

I am feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the daily trials and tasks. Surprising what a little time away can do for a girl.

My First Post

Ok here it is my first Blog Post. We will see if this fulfills my desire to write. I will post about various happenings in our little family and the daily trials of motherhood. Welcome to the journey!
